WASHINGTON, DC — Tomorrow, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Chamber Technology Engagement Center (C_TEC) will host leading innovators, policy leaders, thinkers and investors at the Get Smart on Blockchain policy summit. The event will feature in-depth conversations on the power of blockchain and discussions on blockchain 101, cryptocurrency, the farming revolution, supply chain management, health, regulation and global competitiveness.
The rapid emergence of new technology, along with a shifting regulatory landscape, has created the need for advisors with expertise, real-life operating experience and the ability to offer practical solutions in blockchain technology. This summit will explore blockchain technology’s potential to transform every industry, including our government. FS Vector Partner John Collins will be a keynote speaker in the discussion on cryptocurrency starting at 2:45 pm ET.
Collins previously served as Head of Policy at Coinbase and cofounded the First State Fintech Lab, a nonprofit focused on bolstering the fintech ecosystem in the state of Delaware. During his time as a senior staffer in the United States Senate, he organized the first Congressional hearing on cryptocurrencies and blockchain.
The event is open to credentialed members of the media. To attend, please register directly by calling 202-463-5682 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
