Job Description

We are seeking an FP&A Principal to join our growing team. This newly created role will serve as a key bridge between our CFO and the outsourced accounting and finance team, managing financial analysis, forecasting, and key performance metrics that drive strategic decisions and firm growth. The FP&A Principal will be responsible for building and managing our financial planning processes, enhancing revenue visibility, and providing leadership with data-driven insights to guide strategic initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO and practice unit leaders to understand growth drivers across the business.
• Develop and maintain a rolling forecast for revenue, EBITDA, and other key financial metrics.
• Manage weekly flash reports for leadership and investors, ensuring timely, accurate, and actionable insights.
• Build a unified view of contracted revenue and sales pipeline to improve revenue visibility and forecasting accuracy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and client delivery teams to understand pipeline expectations and business performance trends.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the outsourced accounting and finance team, ensuring seamless coordination and timely delivery of monthly financials, cash flow forecasts, and other reporting.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis for strategic initiatives, scenario planning, and investment decisions.

What we are looking for in a colleague

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial strategy, private equity or investment banking; experience in professional services or private equity-backed environments a plus.
• Proven ability to develop forecasts, budgets, and management reporting in dynamic, growing businesses.
• Exceptional Excel and financial modeling skills; familiarity with reporting and visualization tools is a plus.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles; prior experience working closely with accounting teams preferred.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills, able to clearly articulate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred but not required.
