Primary Responsibilities
The Marketing & Office Coordinator will split responsibilities between our Marketing and Operations teams, primarily providing support for marketing initiatives and project coordination, while also owning our New York City office administrative tasks. In this role, the Marketing & Office Coordinator will work closely with the marketing lead and collaborate with teams across the firm.
Key responsibilities will include coordinating event logistics, supporting social media efforts, and providing general operational support. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment while contributing to the efficiency of the team. This is a full-time position based in our New York City office, Monday through Friday.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support the execution of marketing activities for events, webinars, and podcasts, including RSVP tracking, sending calendar invites, and preparing collateral.
- Draft and schedule social media content, including LinkedIn posts, with oversight from the marketing lead.
- Manage and update the firm’s content calendar to keep campaigns, announcements, and initiatives on track.
- Maintain organized marketing materials, including copy decks, imagery, team bios, one-pagers, and headshots.
- Conduct light research to support campaign development and thought leadership initiatives.
- Monitor engagement metrics across events (attendance, RSVPs), social performance (reach, engagement, impressions), and email campaigns (open and click-through rates) to help evaluate ROI and inform improvements.
- Provide support across marketing functions to ensure seamless execution of ongoing initiatives.
- Assist with event logistics, including coordination with external vendors, venue research, and post-event recaps.
- Prepare the weekly marketing agenda and take notes during team meetings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the NYC office Monday through Friday, ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining a professional office environment
- Support onsite office events, including team meetings, client visits, and other office activations.
- Coordinate with building management and vendors for maintenance, equipment issues, and general office needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, content creation or event operations.
- Ability to self-manage and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills.
- Strong computer skills with previous experience using Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace.
- Creative mindset and willingness to learn new tools (e.g., Canva, Mailchimp, Webflow, Adobe).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience in the fintech industry or financial services is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to work on-site in New York City.
