Christopher Sidler

Chris leads FS Vector's Advisory practice, serving as a trusted advisor to clients at every stage of growth. The team works across regulatory compliance, risk management, fintech product strategy, bank partnerships, bank and trust chartering, and executive talent.

For nearly twenty years, Chris has worked with global banks managing multi-jurisdictional programs and early-stage fintechs navigating their first product launches. He has helped clients build programs from the ground up, assess and remediate existing frameworks, and design durable operating models. He draws on experience spanning some of the most complex regulatory matters in the industry and the practical demands of early and growth-stage companies to help clients build programs that last.

His career includes thirteen years at Promontory Financial Group, where he oversaw some of the firm's largest bank regulatory engagements, helped build and operate the firm's regtech and managed service affiliates, and ultimately co-led the Americas financial crime compliance practice. He later served as a Managing Director at BRG before joining FS Vector.

He holds an M.Sc. (Distinction) from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a B.Comm. (Honours) from the Queen's University School of Business.
