Daryn Deas

Daryn advises financial technology and traditional financial institution clients on a range of regulatory, risk, and compliance matters. Her work includes performing risk and compliance gap assessments, independent assessments, and supporting the Coalition for Financial Ecosystem Standards (CFES). She also supports new fintech product launches.

Prior to joining FS Vector, Daryn worked in-house at a fintech company, where she supported the buildout of the compliance function and gained hands-on experience across AML program implementation, vendor due diligence, and internal controls development. 

Daryn has worked with FS Vector while pursuing her JD from The George Washington University School of Law and will join the firm full-time following her graduation in 2026.

Daryn holds a B.S. in Digital Marketing and International Politics from DePaul University.
