Grovetta Gardineer

Grovetta is a Senior Advisor at FS Vector, where she supports clients in developing regulatory strategies, engaging prudential regulators, and executing bank charter applications. She is known for translating supervisory expectations into actionable guidance for financial institutions.

Prior to joining FS Vector, Grovetta spent more than 14 years at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), most recently serving as Senior Deputy Comptroller of Bank Supervision Policy. In that role, she led enterprise policy and communications strategy to advance a safe, sound, and fair national banking system, overseeing policy operations across credit, capital, market, accounting, compliance, fintech, and operational risk.

During her tenure at the OCC, Grovetta founded and chaired the Committee on Consumer Issues and the Consumer Issues Steering Committee, strengthening cross-agency coordination with the CFPB. She also established a new division responsible for supervision, policy development, and outreach across Consumer Compliance, CRA, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and Counter-Terrorist Financing.
