Jessica Tanem

Jessica is a Principal in FS Vector's Advisory team where she advises financial services companies such as banks and fintechs on the regulatory, compliance, and strategic dimensions of building and scaling their businesses. Her work centers on building strategic regulatory compliance frameworks that help companies design product and service offerings meeting regulatory expectations while scaling with program growth.

Throughout her career, Jessica has held several key leadership positions in the financial sector. She previously served as the Head of Banking-as-a-Service Compliance at Emigrant Bank, Senior Director of Consumer Compliance at Stash, and Vice President Compliance Officer at Axos Bank. In these roles, she led cross-functional teams to implement scalable risk and oversight structures, architect consumer and commercial frameworks, and successfully launch innovative products in highly regulated environments.

Jessica holds a J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and earned a B.A. in Organizational Leadership and Management from Concordia University, St. Paul. Additionally, she obtained a certification in International Law and Legal Studies from the University of Greenwich.
