Michele Hau

Michele is an Associate in FS Vector's Advisory Practice, where she advises and supports clients on a range of strategy, risk management, and compliance matters.

Prior to joining FS Vector, Michele served in two roles at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. At the Office of Strategy, Planning, and Performance Improvement, she supported enterprise risk management and financial modernization planning, coordinating regulatory compliance requirements across eight bureaus. Before that, as a Program Manager at the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, she oversaw payment compliance operations and financial agent oversight for the specialty collections portfolio. Her work extended to regulatory reporting, audit coordination, and FedRAMP cloud compliance across federal agencies including the Department of State, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Earlier in her career, she served at the Embassy of Singapore in Washington, D.C., where she supported bilateral trade engagements and tracked Congressional developments for foreign ministerial audiences.

She earned a B.A. from Ithaca College and advanced certificates from Duke University and Cornell University.
