Sara Siddiq Westgate

Sara is a Principal in FS Vector's Advisory team where she advises clients across regulatory compliance, risk management, product development, and strategic areas.

Before joining FS Vector, Sara was a Program Manager at Better.com, where she spent seven years building and scaling the technology behind more than $100 billion in online home loans, including Tinman, the company's proprietary loan origination system. She managed nationwide product launches from licensing through implementation, launched the company's third party origination and distributed retail channels, and partnered in developing the compliance frameworks that allowed automated decisioning to operate in a heavily regulated environment. Earlier, as Director of Operations at One Zero Capital, Better's parent holding company, she secured consumer lending, mortgage licenses and managed diligence for $100 million in funding. Sara began her career as a litigation paralegal at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, where she supported reinsurance, antitrust, securities, and patent matters.

Sara received a B.A. in Political Science from Stony Brook University.
