Trevor is Managing Principal in FS Vector’s Advisory team, where he advises financial technology and payments companies on the regulatory, compliance, and strategic dimensions of building and scaling their businesses in the United States. His work centers on product structure, helping companies design offerings that are both commercially viable and regulatorily sound. This includes architecting bank partnership models, defining FBO account frameworks, and mapping novel payment flows to existing regulatory rails. Trevor has a particular focus on helping non-U.S. companies enter the U.S. market by guiding them through partner identification, product definition, and the complex interplay between federal and state requirements that shape a successful U.S. launch. He is most energized by emerging and first-of-their-kind product areas where the regulatory playbook is still being written and the ability to structure a compliant path forward is itself the competitive advantage.

Prior to joining FS Vector, he was previously a principal at Promontory Financial Group where he counseled financial institutions through a range of strategic, programmatic, and esoteric undertakings. Trevor, a lawyer by training, previously clerked for former Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Commissioner Sharon Y. Bowen where he helped launch the inaugural Market Risk Advisory Committee. Later, at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Trevor conducted investigations of potential securities law violations

Trevor earned a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School.
